The Xilinx Automotive (XA) Spartan-3A DSP family of FPGAs is ideally suited for high-volume, cost-sensitive DSP algorithmic and co-processing applications in the automotive electronics arena, including infotainment, driver information, and driver assistance plugins. Significant DSP performance is delivered through embedded MAC blocks. The two-member family offers densities of 1.8 million and 3.4 million system gates respectively.
