Jason Hingston was appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in May 2014. With over 15 years of experience and expertise in CAD software development, combined with a deep understanding of the EDA industry, he has been an integral member of the Altium R&D department since the late 1990s. Jason is the champion of our technology, responsible for the architecture that drives the development of Altium Designer and other Altium products and defines their future roadmaps. In his trademark quietly passionate style, he is leading the company’s product development strategy which is focused on “Closing the Capability Gaps” between our products and high-end design tools. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science: Computing Technology from the University of Tasmania.
